The training course Advanced CYMDIST – Customization Functions focuses on the customization of functionalities of the latest version of CYMDIST. Users will learn how to create different configurations, how to create report templates, how to customize the display options and color-code the circuits, and how to create and modify symbols for devices in order to reflect their company’s standards, preferences and environment.

The course is taught by CYME personnel who are thoroughly familiar with the software products and techniques applied. Class size is limited so that each user may receive personal attention. All of our courses are taught using the most recent version of the software.

Designed for advanced users of any CYMDIST version with some IT knowledge, this course focuses specifically on the customization functionalities of CYMDIST. Attendees learn how to customize CYMDIST for all the users in their company.

• INI file; how it can be used to standardize CYMDIST
• Keywords in CYMDIST
     (Keyword management interface, creating/modifying keywords)
• Report formats, XML reports, dynamic reports, creating/modifying style sheets
• Display options
• Color-coding options
• Symbols

   (Assign symbols by default and/or to specific devices, modifying existing symbols, creating new symbols)
• Default equipment customization
• Calculation parameters
• Device and network validation tool

   (Setting up, creating new validation rules, using the validation tool, customizing reports for warnings and errors)
• Questions and answers.

This course fee includes tuition, lunch, course material, documentation and access to a computer for each participant.
